Emphasis in Mergers and Acquisitions, Goodwill Impairment Testing, Fair Value Footnotes, and Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL)

Mr. Schulte helps lead the firm’s fair value business line, which includes mergers and acquisitions, goodwill impairment testing, fair value advice related to footnote disclosures, and 310-30 loan valuations.  In his role as a director, Cole manages analysts working on Wilary Winn’s fair value engagements and is responsible for model enhancements.

In addition, he leads the teams working on post-merger recalculation of accretive cash flows, troubled debt restructurings, and the valuation and stress testing of non-agency mortgage-backed securities.

Cole joined Wilary Winn in 2016. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. When he’s not working, Cole likes to golf, hunt, and watch Minnesota sports.
