Mr. Tessier focuses on model validation including those used to value reverse mortgages, residential mortgage servicing rights, and mortgage banking derivatives, as well as those used for asset liability management (ALM) and credit risk, including Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) calculations.

Biography
Mr. Tessier’s primary responsibility as a senior manager is to help lead Wilary Winn’s model validations, including models used for asset liability management (ALM), reverse mortgages, residential mortgage servicing rights, mortgage banking derivatives, and credit risk – including Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL).
In addition, Mike assists the firm with direct work on ALM, concentration risk management, and credit risk calculations. He is responsible for managing analysts assigned to model validation and the continued strengthening of the firm’s models.
Mike joined the firm in 2016. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance and a minor in accounting from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
